Park City, Utah is an International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA)-rated Golf Level Ride Center, one of the highest ratings. With 450 miles of world-class trails to explore from early May (snowpack depending) to October, Park City mountain biking offers riders of all levels and preferences from cross-country to downhill incredible options and views to boot. Pedal through high-elevation meadows bursting with colorful wildflowers or cruise the golden aspen canopy in the autumn-mountain biking in Park City is truly spectacular and should not be missed whether you’re brand new to the sport or seasoned.

Top Park City Mountain Biking Trails:

Lost Prospecter – Great for beginners and intermediates the Lost Prospector is a great intro to single-track mountain biking. It can be enjoyed as a 7.8-mile loop that includes a section along the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail or as an out-and-back. Read more on MTB Project.
Flagstaff Loop/Tidal Wave – This intermediate-advanced ride is accessed from Deer Valley Resort’s Silver Lake area and affords some of the best two-wheel-accessed views in the area. Portions of the uphill climb are not for the faint of heart with steep ascents and some more technical up and down sections. It can be connected to the Gravity Logic-designed Tidal Wave trail, full of berms and tabletop jumps. Read more on MTB Project.
Wasatch Crest Trail – Enjoy 360° views of the Wasatch Mountain Range, Park City and Big Cottonwood Canyon from this epic local trail. Defined as moderately technical and flowy, the Wasatch Trail does require a strong level of physical fitness to conquer “Puke Hill”. Plus, there few spots to bail out along the ride’s 18.1-mile stretch. This ride requires a shuttle to Guardsman Pass. Read more on MTB Project.
Mid-Mountain Trail – Rated an “Epic Ride” by the IMBA, the Mid-Mountain trail runs from Deer Valley Resort to Park City’s Summit Park community. The vistas are stunning with many ridgeline sections as well as cruisy spots through pine forest and aspen grove. This advanced-intermediate ride can be enjoyed for nearly 23 miles, but there are multiple areas to bail out and make the ride shorter. Read more on MTB Project.

Park City Mountain Biking Haul Pass:

For $150 for the season, mountain bikers can enjoy lift-accessed riding on Park City Mountain, which includes easier access to some of the trails listed above as well as downhill and directional trails such as Crescent Mine Grade, Loose Moose, and Mojave, plus a host of other mixed used on-resort trails.
