With spectacular summer views on some of the best trails in the nation, Park City offers the same great views in the winter capped with snow! There are hundreds of miles of both groomed and ungroomed trails throughout the area to explore. You can bring your own snowshoes, rent some from the local shops, or hire a guide to give you the inside scoop of the area and help with planning. No matter what you choose to do, you’ll have plenty of options to enjoy Park City.

Park City Snowshoe Terrain

Enjoy the best views of the Rocky Mountains freshly covered in snow from one of these amazing trails or adventures. Choose to head out on your own for a half-day or try a tour to get a unique perspective on Park City.

East 224 Connector: Established by the Mountain Trails Foundation, the East 224 Connector, and McCloud Creek trail were created to connect Park City from end to end. This scenic tour is wide and flat with amazing views over bridges, old barns, and next to the Swaner Nature Reserve. This trail is highly enjoyable and great for all skill levels.
All Seasons Adventures: There are several companies that offer snowshoeing tours and adventures that give you the chance to enjoy the trails in a fresh way. All Seasons Adventures offers moonlight dinner tours and stargazing tours to enjoy snowshoeing at a different time of day or you can just enjoy a guided tour to get insider knowledge of the Park City area.
Gambel Oak Loop: An easy 3.9-mile loop located near Park City offers amazing views and often a chance to see local wildlife. This trail is considered easy but still enjoyable especially for those who want to take it slow and take in the views.
Round Valley: With more than 700 acres of open space, choose from five different trailheads to start your adventure in the maze of trails in this area. These trails are free to use and dog-friendly but make sure to keep them on a leash. Trails vary in difficulty so choose your own adventure!
