Newport Landing Whale Watching

September 30, 2022 – October 1, 2022

Newport Landing offers whale watching tours year around.

December – April is the prime Grey Whale migration period. Newport Landing is ideally positioned to take advantage of the annual Grey whale migration, which brings hundreds of Grey Whales along the Laguna Beach Coast.

May – November the ocean has warmer waters. It’s more likely to see blue whales, finback whales, large pods of dolphins, seals, killer whales, sharks, and more.

There are several different whale watching cruises to book, pick from a standard cruise, luxury whale watching or ultimate whale watching.

Please note, Newport Landing Whale Watching is located approximately 75 minutes north of downtown San Diego.
