Traveling to San Diego
The easiest way to travel to San Diego is by flying into San Diego International Airport. Located at the northern end of San Diego Bay, this world-class airport is less than 20 minutes away from the Pacific Beach Neighborhood and surrounding areas like Del Mar, Mission Beach, and La Jolla. The fastest and easiest way to get to your final destination from the airport is using rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.
The airport isn’t the only way to travel to San Diego. San Diego is the perfect way to end a road trip down California’s coastal State Route 1 and sits just on the other side of the border from Tijuana. If you’re coming from further east, you’ll be treated to the contemplative beauty of southwest deserts before arriving at the shore of the Pacific Ocean. No matter where you’re coming from, the drive to San Diego is gorgeous.
