A wonderful stay, place and view!…and 1/3 the price of some local hotels. We plan on staying again!
This place has the best views and close to everything. The price is extremely reasonable for being right on the water.
Probably the most spectacular view I’ve had while on vacation. Very comfortable stay. No need to bring a car. Everything you could want is within walking distance.

The location was perfect, and views amazing from unit 1101! Very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. Beach items were provided, like chairs and an umbrella.
Very well stocked apartment with everything we needed in the kitchen. Very clean with an absolutely amazing view of the ocean. Beach was right there. The staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.
The condo had amazing space and was beautifully decorated! Provided beach chairs and other items to make your stay comfortable. The view of the ocean was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

Fall asleep to the waves outside your room after watching the sunset! This place was magical. It’s like you’re staying right on top of the ocean, yet so close to everything else.
Excellent location, beach access directly outside the building. Can walk the boardwalk, there are tons of restaurants. The view and sunsets from the condo were fantastic, along with listening to the waves all night long!
Amazing view!! Could open up the balcony doors and hear the waves. Comes with parking spot in garage so didn’t have to worry about driving around looking for parking. Loved the location. Great view for sunsets.

Is Capri by the Sea actually oceanfront or just ‘ocean view’?
Capri is directly oceanfront — not across the street. The building sits on the bluff above Pacific Beach with unobstructed views and direct beach access.
Is it cheaper to book Capri direct vs. Airbnb or VRBO?
Yes — meaningfully so. Airbnb and VRBO add a 14–17% guest service fee on top of the base rate. On a $2,000 stay that’s $280–$340 in fees that don’t exist when you book directly here. Are there hidden fees? What’s actually included in the price?
No hidden fees. The total at checkout includes all taxes, cleaning, and applicable fees — there are no resort fees, amenity fees, or booking surcharges. Parking is complimentary: one spot per reservation in our gated underground garage. If you have an oversized or tall vehicle, a separate surface lot is available for $25/day and is disclosed upfront before you book.
What is the minimum stay?
It varies by unit and season — many units accept 1-night stays, particularly under the Last-Minute 20% deal. The Extended Stay 30% discount requires a 30-night minimum. The booking calendar shows the minimum for each specific unit and date range when you select dates.
When is the cheapest time to visit San Diego / Capri by the Sea?
Late fall (November–mid December) and early spring (late January–March) typically offer the best nightly rates with excellent weather. Summer (June–August) is peak demand — book 4–8 weeks out for the best unit selection. Weekdays generally run lower than weekends year-round. Our data shows guests who book 2–4 weeks in advance find the strongest balance of price and availability.
Do longer stays get a better nightly rate?
Yes. Our 30+ night deal takes 30% off the nightly rate. Even outside that deal, our data shows stays of 8–14 nights average $399/night vs. $521 for 4–7 night stays — longer bookings tend to fall in lower-demand periods. What’s the cancellation policy?
All reservations include a 48-hour free cancellation window from the time of booking — no penalty, no fees. After that window, our standard policy applies and varies by unit and season.
