Fort Marcy Suites #54
Santa Fe
2 bedrooms
2 bathrooms
6 guests
DESCRIPTION
This condo makes an impression as soon as you walk in the door. The open living space immediately shows you a wood ceiling with exposed timbers and sturdy locally sourced posts. A pair of skylights and the large front windows admit an abundance of bright natural light. The kitchen is filled with hand-painted tile that offsets the brilliant pop of color on the accent wall. An antique-style wood-burning fireplace serves as a centerpiece for the plush leather sofas in the living room (one of which is a sleeper sofa).
That lovingly tiled kitchen is more than equal to the task of preparing any recipe on your menu. With all the standard appliances and a full set of cookware, dishes, and utensils, you can serve fresh, home-cooked delights to six guests—four on the table and two at the bar.
Down the hall, two private bedrooms are at your disposal. Turn in early for a fresh start or stay up late having the time of your life. No matter when you want to get to bed, the king and queen beds offer an express ticket to dreamland on cozy mattresses under soft linens. The primary suite (with the king bed), has its own bathroom, while a second restroom can be found in the hallway across from the second bedroom.
Outside your condo, a covered patio offers you a place to sit in the shade and look out over Santa Fe and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. But that isn’t all. Less than a block away you’ll find scenic trails looking out over the downtown area and providing historical facts about the old Fort Marcy site and the Cross of the Martyrs. You can easily descend to Santa Fe Plaza, five blocks away, for downtown sightseeing. The walk back is an uphill challenge, but the indoor pool and hot tub in the property’s main building will take care of all those sore muscles and aching bones.
PROPERTY ACCESSIBILITY
Multiple staircases traverse the property grounds and there is a short walk from the parking lot to your unit. Climbing stairs is required to access some units and common areas. This is a two-story unit. The bedrooms in this condominium are located on the second floor—climbing stairs is required to reach them.
WALKING TO THE PLAZA
The Santa Fe Plaza is about a 10-minute downhill walk from the property. Please keep in mind the return trip will be uphill and takes around 20 minutes.
