Why San Diego?

Experience warm sands and sunny skies at any time of year in San Diego. Our beautiful beaches are home to gorgeous year-round sunsets and fresh sea air. But our world-class shores aren’t the only attraction San Diego has to offer. We’re also home to vibrant family favorites like the LEGOLAND and the all-new Sesame Place San Diego—just to name a few.

STAY OCEANFRONT

Capri by the Sea

Capri by the Sea is the signature high-rise of Pacific Beach, rising above the pounding surf and the glittering sands. A true beachfront destination, Capri by the Sea offers unobstructed ocean views in every single unit from double sliding-glass doors and Juliette balconies. You’ll feel true Southern California vibes in Pacific Beach and the nearby Mission Beach neighborhood.

Traveling to San Diego

The easiest way to travel to San Diego is by flying into San Diego International Airport. Located at the northern end of San Diego Bay, this world-class airport is less than 20 minutes away from the Pacific Beach Neighborhood and surrounding areas like Del Mar, Mission Beach, and La Jolla. The fastest and easiest way to get to your final destination from the airport is using rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.

The airport isn’t the only way to travel to San Diego. San Diego is the perfect way to end a road trip down California’s coastal State Route 1 and sits just on the other side of the border from Tijuana. If you’re coming from further east, you’ll be treated to the contemplative beauty of southwest deserts before arriving at the shore of the Pacific Ocean. No matter where you’re coming from, the drive to San Diego is gorgeous.

Weather in San Diego, CA

San Diego is a coastal city in a Mediterranean climate zone of southern California. It’s hot and sunny in the summer, and cool and relatively dry in the winter.

The Pacific Ocean keeps the temperature from swinging too far to the extremes of hot or cold, which makes it a pleasant destination any month of the year.

Remember to stay hydrated and bring plenty of sunscreen while playing on Pacific Beach or exploring the city!
